The purpose of this website is to provide members of the DCCC community a gate way to the study of philosophy. Through this website prospective and current DCCC students may find information about the philosophy courses taught at DCCC, the instructors who teach them, and further resources for the study of philosophy. Students interested in philosophy as an undergraduate major may find links to the many undergraduate philosophy departments in the Delaware valley. The websites for each department usually offers information about the program of study, the faculty members teaching in the department, the courses given and the sorts of careers that their graduates pursue after receiving their degrees. Students interested in graduate studies can read several discussions about graduate school in philosophy and visit sites giving informal rankings of some American philosophy departments. Anyone interested in philosophy may find links to other sites
devoted to the study of: philosophy in general, specific problems
in philosophy, or particular philosophers. In addition, many local
colleges and universities sponsor philosophical lectures and discussions.
