Important GroupWise Information
|
- When
you finish using GroupWise, click exit
(in the upper
right) to ensure your account is secure.
- Use the address book to send messages
to internal people. Address internal messages to "jdoe", not "jdoe@dccc.edu".
- Use Save As to
open attachments.
- Messages open in a new window.
If you have problems reading or sending messages, you may need to
change your popup blocker settings to allow popup windows from
GroupWise.
- GroupWise WebAccess has a 20-minute inactivity
timeout.
- Activity includes clicking links and buttons; it
does not include typing messages.
- It's always a good idea to type long messages in
Notepad or Word and cut/paste into GroupWise.
- AOL Users: GroupWise
WebAccess does not work well with AOL.
- Open AOL and minimize the window.
- Open Internet Explorer
and open the GroupWise WebAccess page.
- For adjunct faculty only
- All messages will be deleted at the end of the semester; we strongly
recommend printing important messages.
