| Initial Set Up after Hard Reset or Battery Failure | |
Perform a hard reset only on the advice of a technician from the Academic Computing Helpdesk. After performing a hard reset or allowing the battery to complete discharge, you will need to reset certain options. The next few screens will walk you through the process. If you have difficulty, please contact the Academic Computing Helpdesk at 610-359-5211 during normal DCCC hours. |

| The first five screens will help you set the alignment of the screen. Tap the crosshair exactly in the center to set it. You will need to do this on screens. | ![]() |
The next six screens will show you how to use the stylus. Follow the PDA prompts to copy and paste an appointment. Tap Next. Tap and HOLD using the stylus anywhere on the appointment. Tap the Cut command from the menu. Tap and HOLD using the stylus on 11:00. Tap the Paste command from the menu. You have successfully moved the appointment. Tap Next. |

The next three screens will set the time zone. Tap the down arrow to drop the menu. Scroll to GMT-5 Eastern US. Tap GMT-5 Eastern US. Tap the Next button. Tap Next again. |
